A note from the founder

I started Summer Friday because I kept seeing the same thing: companies spending six figures on AI strategy that never left the slide deck, or shipping AI features that nobody on the team understood well enough to maintain.
I've been on both sides of that problem. I've embedded with leaders at Samsung and Google to figure out what to build next. I've run teams at agencies like DEPT and MediaMonks, shipping AI systems for Fortune 500 clients on real timelines with real constraints. And I've worked with firms like Citibank and Goldman Sachs to build emerging capabilities and products.
What I learned across all of it is that the gap between “AI strategy” and “AI that works” isn't a technology problem. It's a design problem. The strategy firms can't build. The dev shops can't think strategically. And the teams caught in between end up with tools that demo well but break in production.
Summer Friday exists to close that gap. We sit with leadership to figure out where AI creates real leverage — then we build it. Agents, context systems, playbooks, custom tools. Working systems your team uses on Monday morning, not artifacts that live in a shared drive.
We work lean. Most engagements are led directly by me, supported by a small network of senior practitioners — builders who've shipped products, strategists who've guided transformations, engineers who've built AI systems at scale. No account managers. No junior staff learning on your budget. You get the people who can actually do the work.
And every engagement is designed to end. We transfer capability, train your team, document everything, and scope the internal role that takes over. Our goal is to make ourselves unnecessary — and leave your team stronger than we found them.
If that sounds like what you need, I'd love to talk.
